Don’t you hope 2021 is a much better year than 2020? I do!
It has been a challenging year that has scrambled everyone’s plans and expectations. It has ranged from the tragic loss of life to a slowing, if not complete cessation, of many businesses.
While there are forces bigger than us that we can’t control, there are always things we can do to move from hoping for a better year to creating a better year for ourselves and those we lead. One of those things is learning.
Make it a point to reflect on what you’ve learned from this classroom of catastrophe that 2020 has been. There will always be crises of different sizes and types to deal with, and some if not much of what you learned can be transferred.
