I have to admit, it was odd. But I actually wanted to use my cell phone to snap a picture of the men’s restroom at Freshcraft, a restaurant in downtown Denver.
Why? It was so dang clean. Spotless. And this is an establishment that serves alot of beer.
I didn’t take the picture, figuring I could convey the sentiment in a more traditional way, using the printed word.
But I was and still am impressed.
Isn’t it interesting what we remember about those we buy from and do business with? We don’t remember what we expected. We remember the exceptions: an exceptionally clean or exceptionally dirty bathroom is memorable. Exceptionally good or bad service.
Sometimes the nuances make all the difference.
🙂 I totally understand! I am always very impressed when a space has a clean and well kept rest room. It makes me want to return and makes me more comfortable in their space. Thanks for sharing and I hope you continue to find that stellar customer service!
Another way to think about your excellent point is that the “experience” always wins out.
