I have to admit, it was odd. But I actually wanted to use my cell phone to snap a picture of the men’s restroom at Freshcraft, a restaurant in downtown Denver.
Why? It was so dang clean. Spotless. And this is an establishment that serves alot of beer.
I didn’t take the picture, figuring I could convey the sentiment in a more traditional way, using the printed word.
But I was and still am impressed.
Isn’t it interesting what we remember about those we buy from and do business with? We don’t remember what we expected. We remember the exceptions: an exceptionally clean or exceptionally dirty bathroom is memorable. Exceptionally good or bad service.
Sometimes the nuances make all the difference.
Another way to think about your excellent point is that the “experience” always wins out.
